Review from a music fan from Wales:
'White Flag' was first played on Jo Whiley's show on Radio One and since
then has probably been played at least once a day by most radio networks.
It's subject is something that nearly everyone can relate to, not telling
someone you love them because you know it could ruin your friendship
either with that person, or with your other friends etc, etc. Since the
first album, her voice seems to have changed slightly, and her range
extended but it still retains it's awesomeosity (if that's a word!).
Dido has never had a number one single in the UK which as most of you Dido
fans will agree, is pretty bad. But that is partly due to one thing, her
album was out at the same time as the singles, so most people bought the
album, and so didn't bother buying the singles as well (well some die hard
fans did). This time however, the single is out before the new album, so
hopefully, she'll get to number one and she does deserve too, I'm sure
you'll agree after the amount of work she's put in.
Review from Supremebj from Germany:
Wonderful vocals, breathtaking chord changes, thoughtful lyrics, sensual
melodies. It's all there in Dido's great new single which is bound to be
number 1. I can't wait to hear the entire album!
