The book covers all styles of food from the celebrities, coming together to make a difference in the best way they know how. There is an illustrated quote from each celebrity, introducing either their donated dish or the wider initiative and their support of it. Alongside the Fairtrade photographs small vignettes of information are included to raise awareness of how fairer trade rules, more and better aid and the cancellation of Third World debts are needed to tackle poverty. The proceeds from the book will go towards promoting long-term food security and sustainable agriculture. Here is Dido's recipe:

Banana, Celery And Curry Powder Salad

This is not a joke. My mum used to give us this salad, and it's surprisingly OK.

Celery
Olive oil
Fairtrade bananas
Curry powder
Lemon juice

1. Chop up some celery, put into a bowl and add a little bit of olive oil.
2. Chop an equal amount of Fairtrade bananas into small slices. Add to bowl.
3. Add a spoonful of curry powder. You might want to add more or less, depending on taste.
4. You can also squeeze a little bit of lemon on to stop the bananas from going brown.
5. Eat. Serves as many as you like.
